This International Women’s Day, we have teamed up with celebrity makeup artists Alexx Mayo and Kiran Bhatty, to create looks utilizing the new I Am Woman Palette on their powerfully inspiring clients Lizzo and Awkwafina.
Alexx Mayo, Lizzo MUA commented on how he has created her looks:
I started with the shade “Joan of Arc” to map out the crease and to also contour the bridge of the nose. I then used “Marie Curie” to add depth and definition into the crease. Darkened the outer corner of the eyes with “Hattie McDaniel”.
For the lid I used the shade “Marsha P Johnson” to really make the eyes dazzle and shine. Lastly using the shade “Frida Kahlo” to the brow bone for a lifted effect.
Kiran Bhatty, on Awkwafina’s look said:
Starting with the I Am Woman Palette, I used Ella Fitzgerald as a wash across the lid to create a beautiful glimmery base.
I subtly highlighted the crease of the eye with Cleopatra and followed with Frida Khalo under the brow bone to blend and fuse the look together and refine the look.
